The college has two units of N.S.S: 82 & 96.The aggregate strength is 253,139 girls and 114 boys. The programme officers are Basheer V.P and Abdul Kareem V.The unit undertakes a lot of activities useful to the society in general and villages in particular. The units adopted Padapuram Adivasi Colony and carried out philanthropic activities there. The units also conducted legal awareness classes to degree students. The programme officers are executive members of Nehru Yuva Kendra ,Wayanad.
The annual 10 day special camp 2006 named “SHAMA 2006” was conducted at the college itself. The volunteers undertook the development of college play ground and the demarcation of the college campus. This year the event took place at Padapuram Adivasi Colony and Government College, Kalpetta from 22 to31 December 2007.
Laurels of 2007-08
Fousiya K , an N.S.S. volunteer has been selected as the best camper of the South India N.S.S. Camp held at Kozhikode, Kerala in December 2007. Also participated in KSHE council's Project to create a data bank on Higher Education Institutions in Kerala.
